The Chamonix to Zermatt Glacier Haute Route. In late August 2017, we ran the tour in mountain running gear, running shoes, and all the necessary glacier travel and crevasse rescue gear. Coiling the rope and finished with glaciers at the end of the Stockjigletscher. After the glacier it was all trails to Zermatt on the final day.
